The emergency parking brake on my Mercedes GL 450 is stuck, is there a solution?

The parking brake has been stuck for around 2-3 weeks now. Since we can’t take it anywhere due to it being in park, we’ve asked mechanics and they suggested we replace the parking lever, but the situation still is occurring. And the mechanics have not given us another answer as to what to do. And this is a vehicle that is my main mode of transportation to get income to provide for my family. Please if you have a solution to this issue that would be helpful!
