Harsh downshift cold 2nd to 1st gear, only 14,000 miles on vehicle

What is your question?

2007 AMG CLK63, clunk/harsh down shift fluid cold from 2nd to 1st gear, letting car come to rest/no uses of the brake pedal, clunk solely coming from the transmission during downshift. Will repeat for 2 to 3 minutes until tranny temp warms. In S/Sport setting where 1st gear start is allowed (and 1st gear downshift is allow). No harsh uses of gas pedal, I'm still letting the engine warm up. Fluid level is correct and with the original OEM fill since only 14,000 miles (no track use!). Once warmed up, clutches no long hang, I'm assuming 2nd is hanging up. No inspection yet in the pan to determine any debris. Thank you very much for your assistance. Been having a great time sharing your site with as many people as I can find, saves me a lot of work ;-).

What makes this problem better or worse?

Only when tranny fluid is still cold/after startup.
