When was the first C32 mercedes benz amg manufactured

Best people to ask is the Mercedes Dealership, but most likely it has to with less costly production than West Germany.

There seem to be 2 questions here, I don't know anything about them being made in South Africa (AFAIK, the AMG cars are made in Affalterbach). As far as the earliest build date, though, I can offer that my C32 AMG with model year 2002 has a build date of January 2001, and was delivered on May 7 of that same year (according to the decoded VIN info).
