Going up a hill with the accelerator to the floor my car struggles?

I was afraid that would be the answer. I have to reevaluate this. In 2011, I paid $1500 for the front end and $600 for a new radiator. The car has 256k miles and the expenses are more than the diminished value. Do you think it's worth repairing or would you give it up. Thanks again.
