turn key get nothing battery is strong

What is your question?

My car when turning the key does nothing. The dash lights come on etc but no connection from the key to where ever. I had it towed to my mechanic and everything worked fine. He tried it over the course of two days twenty times and it started everytime. I bring it home and same thing it doesn't "connect"
