AC blower is stuck on high output and can not adjust or control fan.

I just had the AC repaired and now this has become a problem. Prior to having the AC repaired the blower fan worked fine; once the temperature was met inside the vehicle the blower would automatically step-down to a lower setting, and now it blows hard continuously. The mechanic has disconnected to battery to reset the system but this did not remedy the problem.
