The Coolant Temperature Sensor is located under the hood, center, upper engine area, mounted in top of the front passenger side of the engine.

find the lower radiator hose(look under the coolant resevoir). follow it to the motor. it is connected to a flange, remove the flange and you will see the stat

on my 2002 mellenia 2.3l the t-stat is at the end of the lower rad hose on the driver side of the engine. i found it easyest to get to from the top by removing the air piping
