Many Dealerships are great for Service, but some are really only concerned with Car Sales and have lousy Service Departments. The fact that the dealership only recommended a slave and not a Master as well shows me that they are amateurs. I used to work at a Mazda dealership and we could not stand behind only a slave cylinder replacement. Call Mazda Customer Service and get heat on this dealership from above, so they will do the right thing. You might tell the Service Writer that you are going to call Mazda as well. Any complaint cuts into the Service Writer's bonus program, so that may get them to respond.
