one of the screws to the automatic transmission filter did not go back in

No! All 8mm screws & 2 10mm went back-in with no problem. There was another 10mm screw along with the other 2, but different in style, to-which does'nt go back in the same place it came out of? Please! Advise The Problem?

Sorry, there is no way I can know where your extra bolt came from. Retrace your steps.

Yes, I've worked on many. What I'm saying is that if you have an extra bolt, it has to come from somewhere -including other projects- but I can't know where. If that isn't what you're asking, could you be more specific? Is the filter housing missing a bolt hole? Is it covering a bolt hole that the previous filter housing used for mounting?

I'll check tomorrow! I will double check the hole aliangments again of the 10mm (3) screws. Thank You For Your Info. I will Get Back With my out-come?

I've time now to work on my Mazda trans. again. When you've done work on the trans. How many srews the filter in place(12 or 13)?

I know it's been a while for you on this thread if you could do you have a picture of the bolts in and out of the filter? If you do would you mind sharing? Thank you!
