This car has a 2.5L engine with 6 speed automatic. Is this a high compression engine with direct injection? It seems to run fine on regular gas & is a peppy engine for a 4 cylinder.

We are happy with the mileage at 25 around town & 35 on the highway.
What seems to make the problem better or worse? No problems, but I am not a fan of push buttons starting. I like a key.
