What is your question?
So I have a 2013 Mazda CX-5 with 180k miles , I have recently (within the last 6 months ) replaced : alternator , battery , spark plugs and coils , serpentine belt and oil change and new tires/alignment has been done. My persistent problem is that while driving it will shut off still keep moving and then flicker back on a couple seconds later and it will do that the whole car ride ,on a very bad case it will flicker off and lock my wheel and I lose control of the car . The car doesn’t make any noise except a straining sound when I push the gas pedal and the shifting of my gears( mainly when releasing the break from park ands going into drive ) it’s very loud and it jolts into position.i have a check engine light on that gives the code : TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE :POWER SUPPLY LOW; FAIL. I have also gotten the code : FUEL INJECTOR FAIL . But I never gotten both codes on the same check engine(disappears and reappears) pls I need help or advice . Thank you .
What makes this problem better or worse?
I let my car sit for a couple days and the engine light will comeOff and I’ll hear no noise it’ll run smooth for like a day.
How long has your 2013 Mazda CX-5 had this problem?
Since Dec.2023

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. So sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. It sounds like your CX-5 has an electrical problem. I would start by checking both battery terminals to ensure they are tight and the proper size. Next, inspect ground connections and connectors to critical things such as sensors and onboard computers. It sounds to me like your vehicle is momentarily losing and then regaining electrical power and shutting systems down. Due to the safety concerns related to these issues, I would have it diagnosed as soon as possible. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
