What is your question?
I have a 2020 mazda 6 grand touring. I Got the Code p061b. Drove it in a parking lot and started jerking. After parking and restarting the car there was no more jerking but the check engine light was still on. The next day the check engine light was gone and drove normal. The following day i sat in my car idling for about 10 minutes the code came back and the check engine light was back.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Restarting the car
How long has your 2020 Mazda 6 had this problem?
couple days

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! That P061B code points to an “Internal Control Module Torque Calculation Performance” issue, which basically means the engine control module (ECM) detected something off in its calculations. This can lead to that jerking you felt, as the ECM can struggle to manage fuel and timing correctly. The fact that the jerking stopped after a restart but the code returned suggests an intermittent sensor issue or possibly a loose wiring connection. It might be related to the mass airflow sensor (MAF), throttle position sensor, or even a software glitch in the ECM itself. Since the code came back, I’d recommend getting a professional diagnostic check to pinpoint it and avoid any long-term engine performance issues.
