When I turn my ignition on my throttle body makes a humming noise. I can feel the butterfly vibrating. It will continue to do this even with the ignition off for a couple of minutes then the butterfly will open all the way and then shut. When it does that it stops humming. Why would it be doing that?

If your car runs fine with out any problems, it is most likely a noisier than usuall Electronic Throttle Body. Many of the onboard computers and sensor do self-checks after the car is shut off, teh keys are out and your are long gone and I mean hours later in some cases, like the passive EVAP systems test that uses several sensors and components after the key is out. Many of the computers boot up when you open the door, not just when you turn on the key.
