I bought a Mazda 6 and I was told it jumped time but I also found two rocker arms broken so I'm thinking it didn't jump time like I was told what is your thoughts on it and is it worth fixing

I was told that that just Mazda 6 2006 6 cylinder had jumped time and somebody else has already tore into it and I found two rocker arms broke so my thought is it did not jump time it had too bad rocker arms is this motor worth fixing and what is your thought on the symptoms am I right or wrong get me out here please cuz I just bought this car
