Mazda 6 4 cylinder, check engine light flashes have changed plugs and wires, checked the air hoses and filter all are good. What are we missing?

Hello, you're missing performing the needed testing that will help you determine what is happening. Maybe plugs and wires were a good idea to repair to begin with as maintenance, but it doesn't appear that you have any data related to what has caused the light to flash in the first place. If it is a misfire code, engine misfires can be related to ignition parts (as you've addressed), fuel delivery, valve train issues, timing issues and base engine issues (compression).
