What is your question?
I'm wondering about what is optimal servicing for transmission fluid on my 6 speed manual. Is there a way to check the level? When should it be changed? At what mileage?

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I do not see a maintenance interval for manual transmission fluid replacement for your Mazda. As a result, I'd suggest maybe 100,000 miles drain and fill your fluid. But i'm not concerned about internal wear, as you are not dealing with an automatic transmission with hydraulic component operation. The fluid is added and checked at the fill port. There is a fill plug and a drain plug. It takes about 3 quarts. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link to find some shops near you who can help out!
