Daytime lights come on with no power source

Hello, when you say "with no power source", what does that mean? Obviously if the lights illuminate, there is a power source, expected - desired - or not. With the noted "tapping" noise, it could be that there is an electrical power issue or a short circuit somewhere. This will need to be looked into hands on.
