I have a 2008 Mazda 3 and the engine coolant reservoir exploded if I replace it I'm I good to go? Do I have to do anything else?

Hi! This is Bo with Car Genius at RepairPal! It exploded?!? I hope you or no one else got hurt! Figuring out why it exploded would be top priority after replacing the reservoir and refilling the coolant. It needs to be determined if there's a blockage or something else causing excessive pressure to build up. You don't want to replace the reservoir for it just to explode again! Yikes!
