Hello, are you certain that there is no hydraulic issue preventing the clutch from disengaging enough to allow a shift into reverse? Perhaps there's a shifter fork issue or synchro issue? What was the original concern which required a clutch to be replaced? Does the transmission shift into reverse gear with the engine off?
