What is your question?
I just recently purchased a 2010 Lincoln Towncar with factory aluminum wheels. I have purchased the same size aftermarket chrome wheels designed to fit the Lincoln Towncar. What concerns if any are there in changing out the aluminum for the chrome wheels. Should any dealership or tire shop be able to change them out without issue? Thanks, Cindy

My biggest concern would be the Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS) that are within the wheels. When you change over your wheels, you will need new bands for the new wheels - which are basically huge worm clamps -- to fit the size of the wheel. Then you need to carefully dismount the tires from the old rims so as to not damage the sensors on the wheel. A good tire shop or dealership will know how to do this. The sensors from the old wheels must be swapped to the new wheels, by mounting them on new bands on the new wheels. Figure that the new bands will cost between $25-45 each, depending on where you source them from. Good luck.
