What is your question?
just after 14 days break the town car is dead. The battery is all most gone( some drain must be there). I changed the battery form the lincoln with one from a suv so just to try.. but nothing happened. It even do not tries to crank. When I turn the key on there is just a sound like "knock" and that's it. Nothing more. I will be vary thankful if you guys have any idea what can it be.

Lincolns come witha 4 year 50k mile warranty. If you are within these parameters, call your local dealership. A failed starter could cause these symptoms, but we rarely see starter failure anymore. Most modern vehicles with several onboard modules can not be stored very long without starting the vehicle due to the keep- alive power needed for all the modules- 2 weeks is about the limit. Is all the battery terminals secure and corrosion free? The knock noise you described worries me a bit. Pull your dipstick and see that the oil is clean with no coolant or metal debris.
I'm thinking that your SUV battery is not up to the task. It either is not fully charged, or does not have enough cold cranking amps. Your Town Car will probably be seeking 850 minimum. Not enough power and a cold cold engine will cause excessive starter draw. One other thing - you did mention the "knock" when you turn the key - so I doubt this is an issue, but make sure your anti-theft light is solid and not blinking. The anti theft system that uses the key to disable it will not allow the car to crank. However, it won't even "knock" or "click" when you turn the key.
Dave you have right, probably the battery is not enough powerful. It just gives 835 by 32F // 650 by 0F but I think it should at least try to roll over...otherwise the town car is so smart, that notice the less current and cut the entire engine. it is the straw that breaks the camel's back....Who knows. The anti - theft light is solid. Thank you for your quick answers, will try in the morning with other battery...
Yeah, in theory 650 should at least let it turn...I agree. Yet, it's the only theory that really makes sense with your concern thus far. The theft light being solid is a good thing. Don't forget that when it gets cold (as I'm sure it is in Skokie/Chicagoland right now...), the engine gets that much harder to turn. Hopefully all will clear up with a stronger battery.
. .. just back from vacation :) Solving the problem - the issue was the main cable going to the starter, nothing else. I just made new connection there and every thing is working fine. I am not loosing my trust in the town car...
I have more then 50k on the car... Starter usually gives signs that will give up and this one never made problems. The car worked just fine up to this break. yes, the battery cables are ok,no corrosion can be found. I saw the oil - just fine. Can it be some module responsible for the engine start ?. The knock noise come usually by low battery, happened more times with other cars. But, when i replaced it the problem is still there, nothing change. It is like the starter can not get enough power...but why?
