What is your question?
Yesterday I had my car washed, and after going through the car wash there was soapy water leaking down behind the glove compartment. A lot of water about 3 to 4 cups of water, maybe more was on the floor on the passenger side of the front seat. I had the windshield replaced about 7 years ago due to a crack caused by a rock in the center of the windshield. I have had the car for 13 years and have never had any leak that I know of and no smell of wet carpet. The car has been through a car wash many times and in snow and rain. I am wondering if there is a drainpipe to drain water from between the hood and windshield that got plugged or if I have a broken seal. I see no damage in the area lower left windshield on the passenger side where I suspect the leak started. The car has been well taken care of. Is there a way to seal any junctions that may be suseptable to leaking? How would you proceed?

Hello, if you most certainly have soapy water from a car wash getting inside the vehicle, and you had a windshield replaced, it must absolutely be related to the urethane used to seal the windshield being incomplete or insufficient. There is no drain or anything like that in this area. It is 100% related to windshield ceiling if that's the only variable involved here. Alternatively, ensure any moonroof drains are clear and that your roof isn't overflowing. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
