The console lights(map reading lights) will not turn off.

First try this..Look at the scroll wheel to your dash lights. This turns on the interior lights if it is all the way to the right...many people do this accidentally wiping/cleaning or when trying to make the digital readout brighter on the dash. Scroll it to the left and watch to see if the lights go out. Do this while sitting inside with the doors shut, so you can tell if the light are out or not. Second try this... clean the door contact latches on all four doors, lubricate them and make sure the door is truly closed completely. This second problem happens in my 08 Lincoln and this is what cures this. 3 Limos
