Hello, typically this happens for one of a few possible reasons. First, the motor and regulator just installed may not be working properly. The motor could be underpowered, and the regulator may be binding. I don't know what parts were utilized, so can't speak to the quality. Second, the glass may not be firmly bound in it's frame due to faulty adhesive. If this happens, it can tilt even slightly in the run channel and cause extra strain on the motor. Third, the glass run channels themselves may be bent, kinked or restricted. They could also be simply extremely dry and requiring lubricant. This is a common issue as vehicle's age. The thing is - "the guy" who did the job should have already lubed the glass runs. Why was the regulator and motor replaced in the first place?
First thing I would do it use silicone spray and spray the guide rails and see if that helps if not you could have a faulty part.
