When parked lights will come on and flash on off this happens 3-4 times a week

I've seen headlight switches fail along with the wiring connectors behind the switch. Have a look there - check the connector for melted or damage wiring. Of course, this is a total guess; could be related to a lighting control module concern or aftermetket components wired in as well.
