What is your question?
I was just doing some cleaning and I noticed. the hose that comes out of the top of the drivers side valve cover and appear to go into the throttle body assembly is crumbling and cracked. I want to replace it but the auto shop does not know what that hose is or or what it is called. Any assistance on what this is called and where I can get one? Perhaps maybe I can just get some length of same diameter hose and make the connection as it does not appear to have anything special in it or anything. Please advise. I thought originally it was the PCV hose but that is on the passenger side. Cant find anything on this particular hose. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Original problem is sluggish acceleration. Changing hoses as well as coils and plugs.

Hello, that is indeed a crankcase ventilation hose. It's not the only one, but it's a ventilation hose still. See your local Ford or Lincoln dealership service department for a parts film that will show the proper part number and name.
