The keys and the fobs have to be programmed at the same time. Take it to a local locksmith shop that does automotive keys and fobs for the reprogramming. This should not cost too much, much cheaper than most dealers..at least in my area...besides my local guy does all the keys for the airport rental car companies- he should give you the honest answer if your car will take the programming or not. This should only take a few minutes as well.
