Why is Factory Alpine radio not recognizing CD's in trunk changer? "no CDDJ"

"CD Disc Jockey" AKA CD Changer. Sounds like there is an issue with the connection between the head unit on the dash and the CD changer. See if you can locate a disconnected wiring harness in the trunk.
