The compressor seems to be running most of the time. With the hood up, I can hear and feel air escaping near or at the line coming from the compressor/motor for the rear suspension. If I'm right, what will need to be replaced and how much could I expect to pay to get the job done?

The air lines are repairable, as long as the leak is not the actual fitting itself. All you would need to do, is locate the leak, cut the line at the leak, and install the repair fitting. They are simple compression fittings, and work very well. There should only be a few used on each line, however. any more than that, and the line will have to be replaced. There are many aftermarket options for this, as well.
