You should look at the hinge pins and hinge pin guides. Also the integral check this is mounted to the door frame and usually a flat rod goes from the door to the integral check. With the year of your vehicle either one or both could be your problem . I would be happy to check it out for you.. Ira 224-801-6094

your very welcome. I would suggest taking it to a body shop for two reasons . First their hourly rate is lower (most of the time) then shop mechanical rate. Second they do this all the time when they do bodywork on cars. good luck Ira
