What is your question?
My lights used to come on automatically when night fell. They now stay on whether it is night or day since I changed my auto head light switch on my Lincoln. I am not a mechanic, but it seems that there is a senors somewhere that is blocked. Thanks in advance for your help.

The sensor is on top of the dashboard. If there is something covering it, the headlights will come on as soon as you turn th key on. Make sure there is nothing on top of your dash in these cars. The sunload sensor for the climate control is also up there, and will cause AC problems in the hot weather.
