Skips when cold but after it warms up no more skipping?

What is your question?

70 F outside but when I start it runs bad skips pretty bad but after I drive for a while runs fine. not sure if this is related but started doing this after I washed the engine, been over a week since the wash and still skipping when cold

What makes this problem better or worse?
