engine sometime stalls

A diagnostic test is the best way to start to find out what is going on. There's nothing easy or obvious from your concern, unfortunately. I would guess that you may have an air intake leak or a vacuum leak. You could have a problem with the power steering pressure switch - if it's not adjusting idle speed with steering load. Really hard to address without testing the vehicle out. Good luck.
