had bushing replaced-car started in Park for 7 days-parked car 2 days and now Car will not start-turn key and no click,no crank,nothing but silence-tried headlights,radio etc battery fine- with key turned tried to shift to neutral and back to Park-still will not start in Park when key is turned-almost like no connection between turning key and Start. looked at "trouble lights" -red Brake light on-otherwise no other engine problem lights light up on dashboard. no noises.noleaks.

First check the voltage at the battery and make sure it's at least 11 volts. It doesn't take much to power the radio and lights but the starter requires more power. You can also try jump starting the car. If that doesn't work then check for power at the starter. It's possible the starter has failed. Alex
