91 linc town-car will not start in Park-replaced bushing-battery fine-

had bushing replaced-car started in Park for 7 days-parked car 2 days and now Car will not start-turn key and no click,no crank,nothing but silence-tried headlights,radio etc battery fine- with key turned tried to shift to neutral and back to Park-still will not start in Park when key is turned-almost like no connection between turning key and Start. looked at "trouble lights" -red Brake light on-otherwise no other engine problem lights light up on dashboard. no noises.noleaks.
