i have oil coming up from some of my spark plugs

Hello, The 4.6l will drain oil past the ignition coils when the valve covers leak. This allows oil build-up like you are discussing. If oil is seeping up from the spark plug wells, this engine is excessively worn, and may need to be rebuilt.
