I need cost for Oil filter housing gasket

A labor guide I looked at quotes changing the gasket behind the oil filter housing at 1.2 hours. The gasket should be about $7 and a filter $6.

I purchased a oil filter adapter gasket for $14.00 at my local Lincoln/Ford dealer. The parts dept had them in stock. He told me that this is a common problem with 4.6's.

The gasket is reasonable at an average cost of $10.00 but the replacement costs an average of $300.
