Weird buzzing/clicking noise in the dash

Sounds like you are hearing the function of the temperature blend door actuators - one on the driver's side, one of the passenger side. What you would possible hear clicking is a failure of one of the actuators, which is finding it impossible to turn from hot to cold or vice versa.
