how is the chrome cladding atatched or rocker panels atatched on a 2006 mark lt can you just take it off without there being any clips below

are the chrome rocker panels just atatched with glue or is something else holding it in place I want to remove the chrome rocker panels but i do not want to have to fill holes need to know how they were atatched on this particuler vehicle 2006 lincoln mark lt
