Car alarm goes off

Sounds like there may be an intermittent issue with one of the position switches in one of the door lock actuators. The switch is likely sending an errant signal (showing the door has been opened when in fact it isn't) that's causing the false alarms. Most likely this is caused by the driver's side as this is the most commonly used/cycled on/off, but I'd recommend having all of the doors checked including the rear hatch door.
