How to unlock the middle storage department?

i have apparently locked the middle storage department that is between driver and passenger seat. how do i unlock or lock it? PS. it could have broken but i think that is locked. no reason to think is broken other than the fact that its nor opening

With a key? What does the owners manual say? Or has a broken latch.

it does not have a key hole. it must have locked by pressing a combination of buttons probably. i have the owners mannuals in a storage facility, which i think i should take back and look for solution.
