For the traction control it's probably a speed sensor, but the only way to know is to have it scanned. The brake light is probably low fluid, as it sloshes around you'll get an intermittent warning light. If the fluid is low you may have a leak, but most likely are just getting close to needing new brake pads.
My first question would be, have you recently changed tires or had a flat? Having one tire that is not the same diameter as the others can play havoc with these vehicles. These vehicle are not prone to wheel sensor failure, short of physical damage, you might want to take a peek at the sensors in case you caught one and pulled it loose. Also, these vehicle have multiple systems "talking" to each other, so the 'BRAKE' light could possible be connected to the Traction Control issue. Did they start coming on about the same time? I would recommend having qualified shop take a look at it.
