At dealer in Nov., May, now Aug. for same issue. Won't start if not driven daily

OK , let me re-phrase my question....When you end up coming out to a dead battery , on THOSE occasions , how many days has it usually sat for?

Just returned from dealer. He states I have the wrong battery. Recommended an Interstate H7, not the discount one from Advanced Auto Parts installed in 10/23/13. It doesn't have the power to withstand the many, many short trips (reason for low mileage). It never sits for more than a day or two.

Advance strikes again!!!...... I'm surprised they didn't catch the brand battery first time....PLEASE , remember you have a land Rover , stick to dealer parts(including fluids) or a better grade parts store(like NAPA) and even at NAPA ALWAYS stress that you want the 'premium line' where it applies! Hope (and am pretty sure) the correct battery solves the problem! Good luck. AND thanks for being 1 out of 10 that actually replies here!
