Hello, although I cannot be sure without testing, concerns that occur with moisture such as rain or a wash usually relate to a loss of proper ignition spark, such as due to insufficient sealing of the spark plug wires at the coil or plugs. If moisture gets in there, it can interrupt the spark from the coils. Again, this is a guess and theory and testing is required to check out the vehicle and verify the cause of concern. Additionally, if the engine will not crank at all, the same concern can apply to battery cables due to possible connection issues or corrosion build up.
