The coils that go over the spark plugs keep going ever eight months. Why?when I drive between an hour at speed of 80- 100 km smoke comes out tail pipe. But just around half an hour in to the drive I hear a chain like sound and I loose power for ecceralting up a small hill. If I pull over and wait for half hour car sounds quite and runs well till the next hour.

It's hard to say for sure, but it does sounds like your "chain like sound" could be spark knock, "pinging" -- due to a timing issue or engine performance issue affecting engine timing. Regarding smoke coming out of the tailpipe -- hard to address not knowing the color of that smoke. What test is being performed that condemns the coils? Are you seeking professional help for your testing and repairs?
