Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. Wiper linkage, depending on the year of your vehicle, can in some cases be difficult to access and/or be replaced. Without knowing the year of your Jeep Renegade this does make it difficult to know for sure how it is replaced. In many cases the windshield cowling will need to be removed as well as wiper arms, wiring connections, and even the wiper motor itself and in most cases the linkage and motor will need to be installed in a "timed" position to allow the wiper arms to operate properly and to prevent damage to the wiper components. In some cases it can be best to allow a certified shop to replace the linkage assembly or pieces to ensure that the repair is performed properly.
