cruise on the jeep seems to be speeding up than will slow down to the desired speed. Taken the jeep to a jeep dealership and they have no idea what is causing this for there are no codes, but can clearly see there is a problem with the cruise being on.
What makes this problem better or worse?
better if i do not use it, but you do feel a bit of pullback.

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your Jeep Grand Cherokee. If your Jeep has the adaptive cruise control feature this can be causing it to speed up and slow down on its own if the calibration of the front radar sensor is out of specification or even dirty, blocked, or damaged. This is usually one of the more common causes for this type of cruise control concern. If the dealership has not looked into this as the cause and checked to see if there are any software updates for the cruise control system this should be checked into next. If your vehicle does not have the adaptive cruise control system the cruise control can speed up and slow down on its own if the computer suspects the vehicle is not moving at the speed it should be and this can be due to a failing wheel speed sensor or vehicle speed sensor concern. I recommend having all of these checked into to help pinpoint which component is causing this issue so it can then be repaired properly from there.
