What is your question?
My 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a broken A/C and is blowing hot air. I was informed that the evaporator coil is leaking and needs to be replaced. How much should it cost to fix my vehicle.
What makes this problem better or worse?
The air conditioner will not cool regardless
How long has your 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee had this problem?
A few weeks

Evaporator core? How was this inspected? This is an unusual part to be needed, and is located in the plenum box behind the dashboard. This repair would be very expensive. I would recommend a second opinion. It might be helpful to see your local dealership, because I'd complain directly to Jeep if my evaporator core failed in 3 years -- it really shouldn't.
