Why do I have no sound coming for the radio on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limit

When turning the volume knob the screen shows the volume increasing but there is no sound. I tried resetting the system but that did not work. I disconnected the negative terminal on the battery waiting 5 minutes then reconnecting. Still no sound! Checked, unplugged, then plugged the connections to the amplifier. Still no sound! Checked two fuses F67 Cd/dvd/Bluetooth hand free module and F71 audio amplifier, they are good.
