What is your question?
I lost my Clicker key and I had to open my door with the metal key which in turn set the alarm off when I found and retrieve my clicker. I disconnected the batt stop the alarm from going off. I have my clicker and the car won't start. And every time I reconnect the battery. The alarm goes off and the jeep won't start. Any answers or help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance. This has caused me to be out of work and financial Strife. I need to address this issue and fix it myself. Can afford a mechanic right now ashamed to say.

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Grand Cherokee. It sounds like the security system is active and preventing the vehicle from starting. Try locking and unlocking the doors with your key fob a few times to reset the system. If that doesn't work, it's possible that your key fob is faulty or it's registarting in the car's computer has been lost. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
