What is your question?
I had to use my spare to replace a bad front tire, but the rim that was on the spare was too rusted for use, so my mechanic told me to go to a junkyard and get a jeep rim cheap, then go buy 1 new tire and he will put the 2 new ones up front and leave the older ones in back, and take the extra tire with a rim for my spare. I'm driving with no spare, and I don't know how to get a jeep rim at a junkyard!!

Hello, you'll need to find a local salvage yard near you, or even try online. Ebay and other resources have access to used auto parts. Do a web search to find used auto parts near you. Contact your mechanic and ask him for some sources. You'll find one!
Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! I get your situation! Junkyards are a great place to find a used rim and are often very affordable. You can search online for local auto salvage yards or use websites like Car-Part.com, which lists parts from junkyards nationwide. Call ahead to see if they have the rim you need in stock. Alternatively, check online marketplaces like eBay or local buy/sell groups. Just make sure the rim matches your vehicle’s specifications. Once you have the rim, you can buy a new tire and have everything set up by your mechanic. You'll be back on the road with a good spare in no time!
